After breaking Babe Ruth’s record with the Atlanta Braves, Mr. Aaron played for two years with the Milwaukee Brewers and retired upon finishing the 1976 season. The Atlanta History Center is a diverse campus for historical education and research. Lying among the towering pine, beech, and tulip trees is the charming Fern Circle which produces a collection of ferns and wildflowers native to the Georgia Piedmont.
